Trying out the new tent in Yorkshire - 2.08.08

Following our trip to the Lake District we both decided that we really liked camping, enough to buy our first little canvas home (rather than borrowing a tent from Mum). So, after much deliberation, we purchased a tent online, from a shop in Halifax, and were so excited that we decided to camp on the night of Hazel and Liam's wedding, in Halifax; In fact we passed the very shop we had bought the tent from.

The day after the wedding, we decided to follow one of the walks from Cody's new AA book of walks, starting at Hebden Bridge and working our way along the canal path and up a rather steep hill to a water fall. Unfortunately, the book forgot to mention that shorts may not be the best choice of leg wear for walking through nettles and brambles and did not include vicious dog blocking the path to the next stage of the walk. We eventually found our own path down. The views were lovely.

We then drove over more Yorkshire hills to East Riddlesden Hall.

The country's gone cow crazy...

Hazel and Liam's Wedding - 2.08.08

Wedding of University of Liverpool friend, Hazel. The wedding took place in Brighouse, Yorkshire, overlooking lake and hills - quite beautiful. Lovely day for a great couple.
