Shropshire & The Long Mynd - 10-12.08.08

There are so many beauty spots in Britain that I want to take Cody to that we need a year-long holiday in England alone, and even then we would barely scratch the surface (who said you can do England in a day?), but Shropshire had always been high on my list, so, when plans for a camping trip with our friend, Neil, came to the final stages, we decided to meet in Shropshire, reached only by twisty country lanes and providing those quintessentially English patchwork hills and picture postcard villages. The weather wasn't great but we had a fantastic time, walking through yellow fields to fetch fish and chips, climbing to spectacular views and putting our feet up in the local inn.

Then it rained...A LOT...

...and quickly stopped again...





During a sudden down-pour both my camera and my back pack ended up UNDER my waterproof jacket, giving me a rather curious front bump and a back hump...




Where did you put that path, where DID you put that path? Thank goodness for walking sticks to bash our way through!
