Shropshire & The Long Mynd - 10-12.08.08
The largest spider I have ever seen in Britain (approx. 8 cm from top to bottom)
Bishop's Castle, Shropshire
Some practise still needed on erecting our new tent...felt like we were going to take off in the night...

Neil, looking very pleased with himself after a good night's sleep in a sturdy tent...
The Long Mynd - running close to the South Western border of Wales

Gliders ready for take-off from the top
Then it rained...A LOT...
...and quickly stopped again...
During a sudden down-pour both my camera and my back pack ended up UNDER my waterproof jacket, giving me a rather curious front bump and a back hump...

Where did you put that path, where DID you put that path? Thank goodness for walking sticks to bash our way through!
Waiting for someone?
